Tig Notaro is replacing Chris D’Elia for Zack Snyder’s upcoming Netflix film, Army of the Dead.
Zack Snyder may have a new cut of Justice Leauge coming to HBO Max, but the director still has obligations to other streaming services. Last year it was revealed that Zack Snyder would return to directing with a new Netflix project titled Army of the Dead with Dave Bautista starring. Principle photography took place last year but the director still has some work to do on the upcoming zombie film which includes replacing an actor.
Comedian Chris D’Elia originally had a role in the upcoming Netflix film. Earlier this summer, however, D’Elia was accused of sexually harassing multiple underaged girls. In response, Zack Snyder and Netflix have opted to replace Chris D’Elia with Tig Notaro. Army of the Dead will undergo a quick round of reshoots using green screen and CG in order to incorporate Tig Nataro into the film.
