WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for the new Titans episode, “Aqualad”. Read at your own risk.

In “Aqualad”, we see the original team five years prior to present day. The original team consisted of Dick Grayson/Robin (Brenton Thwaites), Donna Troy/Wonder Girl (Conor Leslie), Hank Hall/Hawk (Alan Ritchson), Dawn Granger/Dove (Minka Kelly) and Garth/Aqualad (Drew Van Acker).

For quite some time, all seemed well in the lives of the Titans, but their mission to stop Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Esai Morales) brought tragedy into the lives of the characters in their attempts to bring him down.

After Aqualad learns from Robin that Wonder Girl would be leaving San Francisco, Aqualad confronts her at the airport in an attempt to convince her to stay. Unfortunately for Aqualad, Deathstroke shoots him in the chest – killing him. This leads to the team committing themselves to defeat Deathstroke once and for all.
