Director Boris Mojsovski has confirmed that Barbara Gordon will appear in the third season of Titans.

The world of Titans is continuing to expand with the inclusion of Barbara Gordon, who is set to appear in the third season of the hit DC series. After confirming on an Instagram livestream that Iain Glen’s Batman would be returning for a third season, Titans director Boris Mojsovski also revealed that Barbara Gordon would be appearing in the DC Universe show.

Best known for directing the second season episode of Titans titled “Atonement”, Boris Mojsovski has also served as a cinematographer on the DC show. Unfortunately, the Titans director didn’t reveal any details regarding Barbara Gordon’s character other than that she’d be be making an appearance in the upcoming season.

For fans who aren’t aware of Barbara Gordon’s rich legacy, the character is the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon. Of course, the red-haired character also served as the Batgirl for years. After becoming injured at the hands of Joker, Barbara Gordon assumed the role of Oracle, providing information to the likes of Batman and Robin with her technological prowess.

Currently, it’s unclear what phase of Barbara Gordon’s life we will be introduced to in the third season of Titans, though it’s most likely that we’ll see her as Oracle. With Iain Glen’s Batman already having his glory days behind him, it’s hard not to imagine Barbara Gordon aged as well. No information has been announced as to who will be playing Barbara Gordon in the upcoming season of Titans.
