The first photo from the set of Titans‘ fourth season has been released.

After ending things on a high note, DC has resumed production on its flagship series Titans. The fourth season will continue to explore the complexities of Gotham’s most iconic heroes, as well as the villains that seek to destroy them. Anticipation is at an all-time high for the HBO Max series, which is why hardcore fans will be pleased to know that production has resumed on the critically-acclaimed DC show.

Titans produced Richard Hatem took to social media to reveal that production on the series’ fourth season has begun. The first photo from the fourth season reveals the show’s clapperboard, with the logo plastered on it. Production is set to come to a close in mid-July, which means it’s entirely possible the season could air at the end of the year. That being said, a safe bet is to assume that Titans will return early next year.

Here is the official synopsis for Titans season three:

“Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong. In season three, circumstances draw our heroes to Gotham City, where they will reunite with old friends and face new threats.”

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Nightwing, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Minka Kelly as Dove, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Joshua Orpin as Superboy, Chelsea Zhang as Rose, Curran Walters as Red Hood, and Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne.
