Titans ended its four-season run on HBO Max in May 2023. While there are currently no plans for the universe to continue, Titans showrunner Greg Walker has opened up about the scrapped plans for a spin-off starring Curran Walters’ Red Hood.

A lot of fan-favorite heroes were introduced in Titans, even if many didn’t make it into the show’s final season. Two of the most notable heroes to not reappear were Deathstroke’s children: Rose and Jericho Wilson. The siblings hadn’t been seen in the show since the finale of season 2. According to Greg Walker, the two would have returned in a Red Hood spin-off show starring Curran Walters:

“What would Rose be doing now?” he asked during an interview with Cinema Blend. “I can imagine her and Jason Todd connecting again. We had talked about that, we were playing around with a Red Hood spinoff and bringing Rose back. Chelsea [Zhang]’s such an extraordinary talent, and to be able to tap into that character again and have her brother’s consciousness out there in the world to tap into as well, would be fun.”

While this news may serve as a beacon of hope to Titans fans across the globe, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up. Greg Walker confirms that, while the pitch was sold and an outline was worked on, the Red Hood spin-off failed to take off. It’s unlikely that fans will see Curran Walters, or anyone else from the Titans cast, reprising their roles anytime soon.

The fourth season of Titans was split into two installments, with the latter half debuting on April 13th 2023. The season’s second half featured the team facing off against the villainous Brother Blood, played by Joseph Morgan.

The series was developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti.
