The Vision series just keeps growing! Todd Stashwick’s role has been revealed along with a new actress for the iconic AI of F.R.I.D.A.Y.
The cast of the Vision series has been growing quickly. The project has confirmed that multiple AI from across the MCU are set to appear. This includes F.R.I.D.A.Y., Tony Stark’s assistant AI played by Kerry Condon, and E.D.I.T.H., Peter Parker’s former AI played by Emily Hampshire. Reports suggested that Condon would reprise her role as the character, making her live-action debut as the AI.
However, it seems as though F.R.I.D.A.Y. may be getting a new face (and voice)! During an appearance at a Creation Entertainment panel, Vision showrunner Terry Matalas confirmed that Orla Brady will be taking over the role of F.R.I.D.A.Y. from Kerry Condon in the upcoming series. Given prior reports, it’s likely that Brady will be playing a live-action version of the AI as well.
Who Is Todd Stashwick Playing In ‘Vision’?
Yet that wasn’t the only news revealed at the panel. Alongside the reveal that Orla Brady would be taking over the role of F.R.I.D.A.Y., Terry Matalas also revealed who Todd Stashwick would be playing in the Vision series. The showrunner confirms that Stashwick will be playing the villain Paladin, marking the character’s second ever adaptation following an appearance in Marvel’s Spider-Man cartoon as a member of Wild Pack.
For those unaware, Paladin is a frequent jobber in the Marvel universe, having worked for both heroes and villains when the story called for it. It’s likely that the character will be serving as an antagonist in the Vision series, perhaps being hired to steal one of the key AI characters for an unknown employer.
