Tom Hardy has revealed the logo for Venom: Let There Be Carnage with a brand new teaser.

Earlier today, it was revealed that Tom Hardy’s Venom 2 release would be pushed back a whole year to June 2021. The release date change was most likely an effort for the film to gain enough breathing room in hopes that theatres would open up again. Along with the new release date, the official title of the film was revealed to be Venom: Let There Be Carnage, an obvious nod to Woody Harrelson’s villainous Carnage who was teased at the end of the first film.

To promote the brand new title, Tom Hardy has taken to Instagram to share the logo for Venom: Let There Be Carnage in a brand new motion teaser.

In the teaser, the Venom title emerges from the shadows, sporting a red hue that’s tacked on. The music begins to swelling, before revealing the subtitle: Let There Be Carnage. As wailing sirens join the music, the Carnage becomes highlighted in dark red. The teaser then comes to a rapturous end, showing off the brand new release date.
