During an interview with Fandango, producer Amy Pascal discussed the possibility of a crossover with Tom Hardy’s Venom and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
Despite being lambasted by critics, Sony’s Venom proved to be a phenomenal box office success and a sequel with Tom Hardy reprising the titular role is now in development. However, fans are curious to see if the box office success of Tom Hardy’s Venom and the continued popularity of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will inevitably lead to a meeting between both characters. When asked about the possibility of seeing Tom Hardy’s Venom and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the same film, franchise producer Amy Pascal would only hint that it “might” happen someday:
“Everybody would love to see that. You never know someday… it might happen.”
Tom Hardy will return as Eddie Brock in the Venom sequel penned by Kelly Marcel while Tom Holland will suit up as Spider-Man when Far From Home hits theaters next month.
Would you like to see Tom Hardy’s Venom come to face-to-face with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man or would it better to keep both characters in their own corners? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
