Tom Hiddleston Would Like Loki To Meet Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange

In a recent interview with NY Daily News, Loki actor Tom Hiddleston spoke about the idea of the God of Mischief one day crossing paths with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange.

“In some hypothetical world, I don’t quite know when, for Loki and Dr. Strange to share the same frame would be very exciting indeed. Because Benedict Cumberbatch is an old friend. So I would think it would be interesting to see who would get the upperhand.”

This would be an interesting pairing, indeed. Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston first met on the set of Steven Spielberg’s War Horse and have been friends ever since. Cumberbatch even talked to Hiddleston about working in the MCU before he was offered the part of Doctor Strange. While the idea of this may be exciting, we do not know how many more times Loki will appear in the MCU following Thor: Ragnarok. Hiddleston has this information but did not want to share.

“Truthfully, I do actually know at the moment how many more times I’m going to play Loki, but I’m not going to tell you. It’s not personal it’s just keeping it fresh for all paying customers to enjoy their films. And also I’m the God of mischief so it’s my predisposition to play games.”

Marvel’s Doctor Strange premiered its first trailer this week and is set for a November 4th, 2016 release date. Thor: Ragnarok is getting ready to shoot this summer for a November 3rd, 2017 release.
