Tom Hiddleston’s Loki could potentially appear in an upcoming MCU film.

The last time we saw Loki was during his Disney Plus TV series as reality and time began to crumble due to Sylvie’s actions. While it remains to be seen what ramifications are in store for the duo when they return for the upcoming second season, it appears that Tom Hiddleston’s trickster could be appearing in a Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

Peter Lontzek, the German voice actor for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, revealed in a recent video that he’s working on an upcoming MCU film.

“There is a new Marvel film that I am currently working on that I am not allowed to talk about,”

What could the upcoming MCU film be? The most striking and obvious choice is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is supposed to feature a variety of cameos from across the MCU. Could Doctor Strange find himself in a reality with Tom Hiddleston’s Loki? It doesn’t seem out of the question, especially after the chaos Sylvie and him got up to.

Another potential appearance could be in Thor: Love and Thunder, which is set to hit cinemas later this summer. Loki has appeared in each Thor film so it wouldn’t be out of the question for him to return to see his beloved brother. Then again, bringing the duo back together would cheapen Thor’s arc in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.

Here is the synopsis for the Disney Plus series:

In Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Kate Herron, with Michael Waldron serving as head writer, the new series stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

Loki season one is now streaming on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding Tom Hiddleston and the future of the MCU. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content!
