Many fans consider season 2 of Loki on Disney Plus to be the pinnacle of what the MCU has to offer. As the show enters its final stretch, speculation has run rampant about where the series will leave the God of Mischief going into the endgame of the Multiverse Saga. Fresh promo art for the Tom Hiddleston series seems to tease a reinvention of the character, with a costume closer to his comic book roots.
It’s unclear why or how Loki will change his look in the final episodes of season 2. However, it does seem he’ll be having a true “Rebirth” as the God of Mischief in the Multiverse Saga, returning to his magical ways while maintaining the growth he’s had across the MCU. It’ll certainly be exciting to see how this new costume comes to pass.
Who else is attached to Loki season two?
Tom Hiddleston is spearheading the cast of Loki season two as the titular God of Mischief. The cast also includes Owen Wilson, Jonathan Majors, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Tara Strong, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Ke Huy Quan and Neil Ellice.
Eric Martin replaced Michael Waldron as the head writer of Loki for its second season. Martin and Waldron also serve as executive producers on the series alongside Tom Hiddleston, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Benson and Moorhead directed the majority of the episodes for the upcoming season.
