Filming has started on Loki Season 2 and set photos show stars Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson suiting up for the new series.
The first season of Loki ended on a huge cliffhanger, as Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie killed He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), unleashing the Multiverse and ushering in the MCU’s newest big bad, Kang the Conqueror, a variant of He Who Remains.
The season finale ended with Tom Hiddleston’s Loki finding himself in a rewritten version of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), apparently run by Kang. Owen Wilson’s Agent Mobius and Wunmi Mosaku’s Hunter B-15 seemed to have lost all memory of Loki, but it looks like Mobius will still be working with the trickster god in Season 2.
Loki & Mobius Suit Up On Set
A new batch of set photos from Loki Season 2, shared on Instagram by user “irene_slytherclaw,” show Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson shooting scenes together. Both are dressed in tuxedos for whatever mission they are on.
While little can be seen of their surroundings, a few details might hint that the series is continuing to focus on time travel. The suits Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson are wearing look a little outdated, particularly Hiddleston’s, which includes a frilly shirt under his black tie. A retro fun fair sign can also be seen behind Wilson in one shot.
Check out the new Loki set photos below:
It is not clear what mission has reunited Loki and Mobius, but the two will presumably have to get to know each other all over again after Season 1’s finale. Judging by these set photos, though, it looks like the pair will soon be working together on TVA missions again.
