Fan Notices Flaw With Tom Holland’s Spider-Man In ‘Avengers: Endgame’

A Marvel fan spotted a major slip-up by Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in Avengers: Endgame.

During the climactic final battle of Avengers: Endgame, the fallen heroes of Infinity War returned to assist the survivors in the fight against Thanos and his army. Included in the line-up was Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, whose demise at the hands of Thanos hit Tony Stark particularly hard.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man emerged from the portal created by Doctor Strange in a triumphant moment where he unveiled his mask on the battlefield. Now, one Avengers: Endgame viewer has pointed out that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man was surprisingly reckless in revealing his identity to such a large crowd of people, especially since he is one of the few MCU characters with a secret identity.

Remember when Peter Parker revealed his identity to tens of thousands, including the Wakandan army, all of New Asgard and Dr. Strange’s friends? from marvelstudios

Of course, this didn’t seem to be a problem for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, as the world appeared to remain oblivious to his secret identity in Far From Home. At least, this was true until the post-credits scene, when Tom Holland’s Spider-Man found his identity exposed to thanks to a posthumous video message released by Mysterio.

Here is the official synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for the latest news on Tom Holland’s future as Spider-Man and the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
