Tom Holland recently expressed his desire to star in a Spider-Man movie featuring the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their own respective versions.
Sam Rami’s Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire is beloved by so many on the internet today and Andrew Garfield has his fair share of fans as well. Last year’s animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film opened up fans to the idea of having Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield team up with Tom Holland. Far From Home will also introduce the idea of the multiverse into the MCU. In an interview with Jake Hamilton, Tom Holland said he would love to see a live-action Spider-Verse film:
“Of course I would love to make a movie with those guys, it would be so cool! It would be amazing, it would be really, really cool. And it’s something that the fans really want. So whether Marvel and Sony decided to do that, it’s up to them. It’s not up to me, I can’t walk in like ‘Kevin [Feige], this is what we’re doing on the next one.’ But it would be really awesome.”
