Spider-Man: Brand New Day isn’t just bringing together fans! A batch of set photos brings Tom Holland and Zendaya back together on an MCU set.
The leaks that have come out for Spider-Man: Brand New Day have been interesting, to say the least. Almost every set photo that has found its way onto the internet simply shows Tom Holland facing down tanks as Spider-Man. And aside from a few new cast members, many staples such as Zendaya’s MJ and Jacob Batalon’s Ned Leeds have been absent from these pics.
Yet fans finally have their first set photos of Zendaya; albeit not in the way they may have expected. The actress reunited with her fiancé Tom Holland on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, not to film a new scene, but to take a few pictures with young fans. The heartwarming images can be seen in full below, although there’s likely a few floating around that aren’t included in the post.

Zendaya’s Role In Spider-Man: Brand New Day
While these set photos doesn’t reveal anything about Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it does reveal that Zendaya was at least on set with Tom Holland- even if she wasn’t confirmed to be filming a scene. Either way, with Zendaya confirmed to appear in the project, it’s more likely than not that the two actors will share a scene at some point.
Most likely, given these are the only set photos featuring Zendaya, the actress won’t be playing a major role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It’s possible that her and Tom Holland only share a scene or two together, likely teasing a proper reunion in a future installment of the franchise.
