Does the Marvel Cinematic Universe finally have its Jubilee? Avatar star Trinity Bliss gives her thoughts on the viral casting rumors about the upcoming X-Men reboot.
The rumor mill has been absolutely feasting when it comes to the X-Men reboot. Even though the only thing officially known about the project is its director, that hasn’t stopped every scooper from making posts about who can play each mutant in the MCU. Though perhaps disappointingly, Jubilee has often been left out of these reports.
It was only recently that the first rumor about who might play Jubilee in the MCU hit the net. Scooper Jeff Sneider revealed that Trinity Bliss, best known for her role in the Avatar franchise as Tuk, was a top contender to play the Marvel character in the upcoming reboot of the X-Men franchise.
Is Trinity Bliss Playing Jubilee In The MCU?
As with almost every rumor to come out about the MCU’s casting process, Trinity Bliss was asked if there was any truth about her joining the reboot during a recent chat with The Direct. Sadly, it seems the hunt is still on for the perfect Jubilee, with the Avatar star admitting she isn’t in the running to join the highly anticipated X-Men line-up.
“Oh my gosh. When I saw them, I was like, ‘Oh, that would be really cool.’ Like, ‘What do you know that I don’t?’ But I mean, I love the X-Men side of things, so that would be really cool. But, I have not been cast as Jubilee.”
Of course, the one thing that can be said in service of this rumor is that executives often have a casting profile for a character long before the casting process actually begins. It’s possible that, once the reboot does start filming for the MCU, Trinity Bliss will get the call to officially join the X-Men as the insatiable Jubilee!
