The TRON Lightcycle Power Run will be coming to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021.

Disney Parks chairman Bob Chapek announced Shanghai Disneyland’s highest-rated attraction, the TRON Lightcycle Power Run, will be coming to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Chapek made the announcement during the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts presentation at Disney’s D23 biennial Expo today in Anaheim, CA, revealing that Disney will be bringing the popular TRON attraction to a brand new area next to Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom Park.

The TRON Lightcycle Power Run transports users to the grid, putting them on a rollercoaster where they ride a train of the iconic Lightcycles featured in TRON: Legacy. Riders are treated to the score and sound effects from the film as they experience the ride which mirrors the levels seen in the films game arena.

You can check out a video of the ride from Disneyland Shanghai in action along with the attraction’s concept art below.
