It seems that the next Venom film will be full of Carnage as a recent report states that Woody Harrelson is expected to return to the role of Cletus Kasady in the upcoming sequel.
The report came from Variety, which also reported the scriptwriter for the film. According to the report, stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Willians, and Woody Harrelson are all expected to return to their respective roles in the upcoming film. If correct, it would certainly be in line with the final scene of the film.
In the final moments of Venom, Eddie Brock confronted Cletus Kasady in prison. The character then warned him that if he ever got out that there would be carnage. The scene was obviously meant to set up an upcoming sequel where the two would battle so it would only make sense that the actor would return for a to the franchise later on.
