Vin Diesel has revealed that the official title for the tenth Fast and Furious film will be Fast X in a post on Instagram.
As well as revealing the official title and logo for the tenth Fast and Furious film, Vin Diesel revealed the project had started filming, captioning the image “Day one…”. The film is set to be part one of a two-part finale to the Fast and Furious franchise, marking an epic conclusion to a saga that began over 20 years ago, back in 2001. Most of the previous film’s primary cast are expected to return alongside Vin Diesel.
Fast X will also welcome some new faces to the franchise. Most notably, two additions from the world of comic book movies are joining the franchise. Brie Larson, who has recently appeared as Captain Marvel in the MCU, will be appearing in the film, as will Jason Momoa, who plays the title role in DC’s Aquaman franchise. Momoa will be appearing as one of the film’s main antagonists, while Larson’s role is yet to be confirmed.

Here is the synopsis for the latest film in the franchise, F9: The Fast Saga:
Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, this year’s The Suicide Squad).
F9 sees the return of Justin Lin as director, who helmed the third, fourth, fifth and sixth chapters of the series when it transformed into a global blockbuster. The action hurtles around the globe—from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh, and from a secret bunker in Azerbaijan to the teeming streets of Tblisi. Along the way, old friends will be resurrected, old foes will return, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family will be tested like never before.
Directed by Justin Lin from a script written by Daniel Casey, F9 stars Vin Diesel, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Cardi B, and Sung Kang, with Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.
F9 is available on all home video formats. Fast X is currently set to hit theaters on May 19, 2023. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the franchise and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube franchise for more original video content.
