The upcoming monster film, Godzilla vs Kong has been pushed back by Warner Bros from November of 2020 to May of 2021.
Today Warner Bros has announced a pushed back the release dates of several of their upcoming films. This included Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, Wonder Woman 1984 and The Matrix 4. Now Godzilla vs Kong has been added to that list of delays.
Godzilla vs Kong was originally set to be released on November 20th of 2020 but will now be released on May 21st of 2021. Originally the spot was heald by Keanu Reeves’ The Matrix 4 which itself was delayed until the spring of 2022. This will make the second time the film was delayed having originally been set to be released in the spring of 2020.

Adam Wingard (Death Note) is directing Godzilla vs Kong from a script written by Terry Rossio (Pirates of the Caribbean), Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne (Star Trek Beyond), Lindsey Beer (The Kingkiller Chronicles), Cat Vasko (Queen of the Air), T.S. Nowlin (The Maze Runner, Pacific Rim: Uprising) and J. Michael Straczynski (World War Z).
The film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Alexander Skarsgård, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, and Brian Tyree Henry, Demian Bichir, Rebecca Hall, Jessica Henwick, Lance Reddick, and Kyle Chandler.
