The latest episode of Marvel Studios Assembled goes behind the scenes on the What If…? animated series.

What If…? was another major milestone for Marvel Studios as their first animated project, which explored an alternate reality with some of our favorite characters in the universe like Captain Carter, T’Challa as Star-Lord, and many other variations. The series also notably saw the return of many Marvel stars voicing their live-action counterparts for animation.

The first season of What If…? concluded earlier this month with the altered characters from previous episodes teaming up as the Guardians of the Multiverse to take down an Infinity Gauntlet wielding Ultron. Like like all the Marvel shows that have come before it, there will also be a Marvel Studios Assembled episode focused on the making of the series.

Along with the announcement of the new Marvel Studios Assembled episode, we got a first look as well. In the trailer, we see the What If…? creators talk about the animation being inspired by Norman Rockwell’s art, a tease of how this will impact the films, and so much more. The episode is now available to watch on Disney Plus, and you can check out the trailer for it below.

Here is the synopsis for Marvel’s first season of What if…?:

“Exploring pivotal moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turning them on their head, leading the audience into uncharted territory.”

Marvel’s What If…? features the voices of Josh Brolin, Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Michael B Jordan, Chadwick Boseman, Jeffrey Wright, Hayley Atwell, and other major stars from the MCU.

What If…? is available to stream on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the future of the series and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
