Superman actor Henry Cavill’s The Witcher Netflix series appears to be moving ahead with its production as new set photos have surfaced online.
The Witcher has seen a couple of leaks recently, with one featuring a full video of actress Anya Chalotra as Yennefer for a scene. Though the leaks do not appear to contain big spoilers for the Henry Cavill series, they do give fans a glimpse of its locations and scenes as production continues. Now there appears to be a couple of images that have surfaced online showcasing locations for where some scenes will be shot. You can view the images below.

The first set of images appear to be from Maspalomas in the Canary Islands with a scene being shot with a desert background. The second set of images appear to be from Guayedra Beach or a nearby location. Henry Cavill who became a huge star after portraying Superman will now appear as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher. The Witcher seems to be a big project for Netflix, shooting at exotic locations.
Henry Cavill, who is a fan of video games, is excited to bring Geralt of Rivia to life in this Netflix series much like he did with Superman in the DCEU. Henry Cavill is widely praised as Superman with some hoping the actor gets a sequel for Man of Steel. The actor proved that he can take on big iconic roles much like he did with Superman with many still holding Christopher Reeve’s performance as a great one. After playing Superman in three films in the DCEU, Henry Cavill may be ready for another big role. The actor had big shoes to fill as Superman, but now he will be able to place his mark as Geralt of Rivia.

Based on the fantasy series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski, Netflix’s The Witcher will follow the monster slayer for hire named Geralt of Rivia portrayed by Henry Cavill. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich will also serve as an executive producer on the series while Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez and Charlotte Brändström are on board as directors for the eight-episode first season.
The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Aretuza, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri, with Mimi Ndiweni and Therica Wilson-Read as novice sorcerers.
The Witcher will be available on Netflix later this year.
