A new teaser for Wonder Man is here! The MCU takes a step in a bold new direction for their upcoming series on Hulu and Disney Plus.
Fans have been waiting years for Wonder Man. The series first began filming all the way back in 2023. But due to a mix of strikes and changes in Marvel’s plans for MCU content on Disney Plus, the series has been pushed back and bac. And with the series premiering soon, fans haven’t gotten so much as a trailer.
That is, until now. The first teaser for Wonder Man has officially been released. Perhaps more so than any other Disney Plus series, the project seems to be taking the MCU out of its comfort zone. With the series led by Watchmen star Yahya-Abdul Mateeen II, it seems as though Marvel is shaping up for another hit.

In the comics, Wonder Man is the son of a millionaire who unknowingly committed fraud before becoming a superhero and, later, and actor. The MCU is changing this up for the Disney Plus series, with reports suggesting that Simon Williams will be a struggling actor and stunt man before the events of the show.
Wonder Man is also a mainstay of the West Coast Avengers in the comics. There’s been a lot of speculation that the team may get their own Disney Plus series in the MCU. And, depending on how popular Yahya-Abdul Mateeen II’s portrayal of Simon Williams is, it wouldn’t be shocking to see him return for a spin-off project.
