Wonder Woman Monolith DC Comics Video Game

DC Comics’ iconic heroine Wonder Woman is getting a new video game from Monolith Productions.

During The Game Awards 2021, amongst a slew of brand new video games and other projects dropping exciting new teasers, one coming from the world of DC Comics got many fans’ attention. After many years, Wonder Woman is officially getting her own solo video game, which will be developed by Monolith Productions, notable for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

The official announcement teaser for Monolith’s Wonder Woman video game features a voiceover that feels akin to iconic speeches delivered by Jor-El to Superman, expressing the destiny that the titular hero/heroine will have with their amazing abilities and personal character. The teaser gives some exciting detail to Diana’s design, as she’s shown wielding her lasso ready to unite her Amazonian people with modern humankind. Safe to say that after many years, another non-Batman DC Comics legend is finally getting their well-deserved solo video game.

Here is an official synopsis for the Wonder Woman video game:

She will fight to unite the warriors of two worlds. You are Wonder Woman. In development by Monolith Productions, creators of the critically acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor™ and sequel Middle-earth: Shadow of War™, this open-world action-adventure game will feature the beloved DC Super Hero, Wonder Woman. The single player open-world action game will introduce an original story set in the DC Universe and allow players to become Diana of Themyscira in the fight to unite her Amazon family and the humans from the modern world. Powered by the Nemesis System, gamers will forge deep connections with both enemies and allies as they progress from a heroic fighter into a proven leader.

Meanwhile, fans can check out both Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984, which are available to own on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
