Wong Is Rumored To Make Another MCU Appearance In ‘She-Hulk’

These days, it's like everything revolves around Wong!

According to a new rumor, Wong may make an appearance in the upcoming MCU series, She-Hulk.

Marvel Studios has a slew of new films and TV series releasing in 2022. Earlier this week, the first episode of Moon Knight dropped on Disney Plus, and the highly-anticipated Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now a month away from hitting theaters. And those are just two entries out of what fans should expect from the MCU this year, with at least two more theatrical releases and several more TV series dropping on Disney Plus, including She-Hulk.

The latest rumor regarding She-Hulk revolves around the potential appearance of Wong (Benedict Wong), in which the current Sorcerer Supreme may be making yet another MCU appearance. This comes from Lizzie Hill, Editor-in-Chief at The Cosmic Circus, who shared this on Twitter:

This is also derived from the fact that Benedict Wong and She-Hulk actress Tatiana Maslany started following each other on Instagram, as well as the actor following Jessica Gao, Kat Coiro and Jameela Jamil. To be fair, most MCU actors and actresses follow each other, regardless of whether or not they have shared the screen at this point, but the specificity in this case adds credence to the idea that we will be seeing the current Sorcerer Supreme appear in the series.

After making his MCU debut in 2016’s Doctor Strange, Wong has since appeared in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Wong’s next MCU appearance is in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will hit theaters on May 5, 2022.

Marvel Studios hasn’t shared too many She-Hulk details yet, but Kevin Feige described She-Hulk as a “half-hour legal comedy.” Kate Gao served as the head writer on the Disney Plus series, with Kat Cario and Anu Valia directing the ten-episode season.

She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Jameela Jamil as Titania, and Tim Roth as the Abomination. Ginger Gonzaga and Renee Elise Goldsberry are also part of the cast.

She-Hulk will debut on Disney Plus in 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming MCU Disney Plus series, as well as the future of Benedict Wong in the franchise, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
