‘A Wrinkle In Time’ Teaser Trailer Will Debut At D23

D23 Expo is just under two weeks away and fans are eager to see what new announcements will be made by Disney at the biennial fan event. Now, director Ava DuVernay has revealed that the teaser trailer for her feature film adaptation of the novel A Wrinkle In Time will debut at the convention.

DuVernay made the announcement on her official Twitter account, though no details on an exact release date for the teaser or if it will be made available to the general public were provided. However, there is a good chance the trailer will debut on Saturday, July 15 during the Live Action Films panel.

Based on the 1962 science fantasy novel by Madeleine L’Engle, the film tells the story of Margaret “Meg” Murry and her interdimensional journey to find her missing father with the help of her friend, little brother, and a trio of supernatural beings.

Written by Jennifer Lee, the film stars Storm Reid, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Levi Miller, Deric McCabe, Chris Pine, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peña, Zach Galifianakis and Oprah Winfrey.

A Wrinkle In Time will be released in theaters on March 9, 2018.

D23 2017 will be held on July 14–16 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
