The director has also been accused of sexual assault and coercion several times over the years.

Infamous X-Men director Bryan Singer was confronted by the main cast in full costume after a fight broke out on the set between Singer and a producer.

There’s been a number of horrifying sexual assault allegations made against X-Men director Bryan Singer over the years, but a recent report from The Hollywood Reporter details a moment on the set of the iconic mutant film that saw the cast confront Singer in full costume about his conduct on the set. Sources told the outlet that Singer had become erratic and was under the influence of narcotics during production. When it was revealed that a number of other crew members had also taken drugs while working, producer Tom DeSanto confronted the now infamous director.

The confrontation apparently culminated in a fight, since DeSanto was concerned that someone on set could be hurt if the director and a number of crew members were under the influence. After Bryan Singer continued to film, a stunt went wrong and Wolverine star Hugh Jackman was left bleeding on-screen, because there wasn’t a stunt co-ordinator on set. This was the final straw for many of the cast, with the majority of them except Ian McKellen and Rebecca Romijn confronting Singer in his trailer, while dressed in their full X-Men costumes. It’s at this point Storm actress Halle Berry reportedly told the director to “kiss my black a**” which became widely talked about in the years since, although a representative for Singer say the star never actually said that.
