Is Wonder Man finally getting its first trailer? Speculation mounts as Yahya Abdul-Mateen II shares a new logo for the series on social media.
Wonder Man is such an odd nut. The series was born out of pure passion from Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton. Production on the show actually started all the way back in April 2023, continuing until April 2024 due to a pause from the Hollywood strikes. The show is supposedly set to debut this year. However, aside from a few shots of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in teasers, fans have gotten basically nothing when it comes to footage- let alone a trailer.
Yet a trailer may be closer than fans expect. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II recently took to social media to reveal a hat from the set of Wonder Man, showcasing a slightly updated logo for the series. This has fans speculating that the project may finally get its first trailer soon, potentially debuting at or around New York Comic-Con this week.
When Is The Wonder Man Trailer Coming Out?
It’s clear that Marvel has been pumping the breaks on promoting their Disney Plus shows, with each series barely getting any build up before being dropped on the service. It’s likely that Wonder Man will suffer much the same fate, with fans maybe getting two trailers (one now, one in November) before Yahya Abdul-Mateen II makes his small screen debut as the hero.
It’s also likely the trailer for Wonder Man will reveal a date for the series. Given Yahya Abdul-Mateen II isn’t exactly a household name, it’s likely the project will debut earlier in December to avoid competing with Stranger Things– if it keeps its 2025 release date at all. Though, hopefully, whenever it comes out it turns out good!
Wonder Man will release on Disney Plus later this year. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Wonder Man and the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
