Zach Galifianakis Roasts ‘Avengers’ Stars Paul Rudd & Brie Larson In New Netflix Movie

Zach Galifianakis can be seen roasting Avengers stars Paul Rudd and Brie Larson in his latest project Between Two Ferns: The Movie.

Between Two Ferns: The Movie is a direct continuation of the Between Two Ferns web show where Zach Galifianakis plays a more awkward version of himself and interviews celebrities. However, in the show, Zach Galifianakis’ main goal is to insult actors and make them feel super uncomfortable. Obviously, it’s all a joke at the end of the day, but for unsuspecting viewers, they may genuinely believe that Zach Galifianakis is insulting their favourite actors.

In the film, Zach Galifianakis can be seen bullying a variety of celebrities, including Avengers stars Paul Rudd and Brie Larson. When speaking to Paul Rudd, Zach Galifianakis asks him questions regarding his Marvel role as an Avengers, including if he’d “rather star in Marvel movies or something that no one has ever heard of”. He also shames the Avengers star for having too many pauses and “uhms” in his interview. You can see an extended version of Paul Rudd’s interview from the film below.

When speaking to Brie Larson, Zach Galifianakis berates her for playing Captain Marvel, citing that her name is unoriginal and that they should have just named the character “Captain Comicbook.” However, Brie Larson fires back and tells him that his superhero name should be “Captain Crunch.” You can check out a short clip of the interview below.

In the film, Zach Galifianakis interviews a variety of actors, some of whom have appeared in the Avengers films, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Peter Dinklage and Tessa Thompson. If you watch the entire film, you’ll see that he’s mean to them just as much as he was towards Brie Larson and Paul Rudd.

Do you think Zach was too mean towards Brie Larson and Paul Rudd? Let us know in the comments section below!

Paul Rudd and Brie Larson were last seen together in Avengers: Endgame. Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Avengers: Endgame is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Meanwhile, Between Two Ferns: The Movie is currently streaming on Netflix.
