There’s no better couple than Superman and Lois Lane! Zack Snyder recently posted a BTS photo featuring Justice League stars Henry Cavill and Amy Adams.
Perhaps the most forgotten aspect of the Snyderverse is the relationship between Superman and Lois Lane. While fans have many critiques when it comes to the writing of the duo and the chemistry between Henry Cavill and Amy Adams, it’s clear that Zack Snyder intended for the lovers to play a large role in the overarching story that he had planned.
And with Zack Snyder recently posting never before seen pictures from the production of the Snyderverse films, it was only a matter of time until fans saw a new snapshot of Lois Lane and Superman’s relationship. This came in the form of a BTS photo taken by Henry Cavill of him with Amy Adams. Judging by the flannel, it seems as though this came from the set of Justice League.
Zack Snyder’s Original Plan For Lois Lane
A few years back, early storyboards for Justice League revealed that Zack Snyder had some absolutely wild plans in store for Henry Cavill and Amy Adams’ characters in the Snyderverse. The original concept had Lois Lane becoming pregnant with Batman’s kid. This would cause Superman to fall to Darkseid in the Justice League sequel, leading to the Knightmare timeline.
It’s important to note that these storyboards are very, very early pitches for the Justice League trilogy, and it’s likely that Zack Snyder would have made major changes if the Snyderverse came to pass. Yet even then, it seems as though the relationship between Henry Cavill’s Superman and Amy Adams’ Lois Lane was always set to end in tragedy.
