Justice League cinematographer Fabian Wagner recently got candid about his desire to see the Zack Snyder cut of the DC team-up flick come to fruition.
Speaking recently on the Comicbook Debate podcast, Fabian Wagner revealed new details regarding the Zack Snyder cut of the film and even Darkseid himself. Fabian Wagner also opened up about how much he would like to see Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League itself:
As a fan, and the guy who worked with Zack on Justice League, and who shot it, yeah. I mean, fuck, I would love to see Zack’s film.
Fabian Wagner isn’t the only one who wants to see Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League released. Since Justice League was released back in 2017, fans have been clamoring for Warner Bros. to release Zack Snyder’s cut of the film. The director stepped down from directing Justice League after his daughter died by suicide during the film’s post-production. Zack Snyder ultimately passed directorial duties over to Joss Whedon, who was said to be directing additional photography and finishing the post-production process in an effort to maintain Zack Snyder’s original vision. But the outcome itself was very different from what Zack Snyder had intended and was even described as a Frankenstein between the two directors by insiders.
Zack Snyder himself finally confirmed the Snyder Cut of Justice League exists earlier this year along with his original plans for the future of the DCEU including how Justice League was originally going to introduce Darkseid. He also confirmed how he had intended to feature Young Darkseid vs Ares and the other Greek Gods in the first invasion of Earth, the murder of Lois Lane as well as half of the Justice League, and Darkseid taking control of the heartbroken Superman with the Anti-Life Equation over his original 5 film-arc for the DCEU.
As of now, the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League remains unfinished. But what do you think? Are you with Fabian Wagner? Would you like to see Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League finally released? Let us know in the comments below!
