Snyder had some interesting plans for the DCEU and originally, Justice League was going to be a two-part film that would eventually lead into the superhero team uniting to stop Darkseid. Since then, those plans fell through and Justice League ended up using Steppenwolf as the film’s antagonist.
Justice League for the most part underwhelmed critics and fans, with many fans continuing to hope for Zack Snyder to return to put together his own cut of the film. Although that is unlikely, it is always fun to see him share some teases about the DCEU despite everything that has happened since.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
