Director Zack Snyder had a cameo in Justice League that was ultimately cut before the film reached theaters.
2017’s Justice League has become infamous for how much of director Zack Snyder’s original vision was edited out and re-shot for the final cut. This has caused many DC Extended Universe fans to start the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement, in hopes that this will lead to Warner Bros. allowing the filmmaker to come in and give fans a cut of the film closer to what he originally wanted to do.
It turns out that it wasn’t just important subplots that were cut out of Justice League. Zack Snyder originally had a cameo in the film that did not make it to the big screen. During the cut moment, fans can see the director sitting in a coffee shop, spotted behind Lois Lane (Amy Adams) as she exits. Check out the image below to see the cameo.
When Superman died in the comics back in the ’90s, he had four different comic book titles releasing each month. The effects that the Last Son of Krypton’s death had on his fellow heroes and civilians around the world was very apparent and important to the story in all four Superman titles. The lack of focus on Adams’ Lois Lane in Justic League left some fans disappointed, so it’s no surprise to learn that a moment like her visiting Superman’s memorial was left on the cutting room floor.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Justice League as soon as more information becomes available. Would you have liked to see more of Amy Adams as Lois Lane in the film?
