Justice League director Zack Snyder teased fans that Kevin Costner’s Jonathan Kent might reappear in his cut of the film arriving on HBO Max next year
There’s a number of new characters that will make an appearance in Justice League next year like Darkseid and Green Lantern but it seems director Zack Snyder is also bringing back Jonathan Kent in the film. The character was last seen during Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice when he appeared in a vision to Clark Kent, offering guidance to the hero after he failed to stop Lex Luthor bombing the U.S. Capitol.
A fan on Vero recently asked Zack Snyder whether Jonathan Kent will appear in the DC Extended Universe one more time for Justice League. Snyder didn’t reveal how Pa Kent will show up, simply replying with a winking emoji. It seems likely that he’d show up in some kind of motivational flashback or vision like his previous cameo in Batman v Superman. Take a look at the director teasing Jonathan Kent’s appearance on Vero below.

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
