Zack Snyder Hints At His Potential ‘Justice League’ Sequel Plan

Will we see a Snyder Cut 2?

Director Zack Snyder recently teased his plan for a potential Justice League sequel involving Darkseid during a livestream event.

Zack Snyder’s DC universe appears to be alive and well, not just because the filmmaker is working on his Justice League cut for HBO Max, but because he also recently assembled cast members like Ben Affleck, Jared Leto, Joe Manganiello, Amber Heard, and others for reshoots. It certainly seems like Snyder is making some revisions and additions to his initial Justice League cut, which will now be a miniseries.

Years ago, Zack Snyder’s Justice League film was announced as two parts, but was eventually changed to one as filming neared. Snyder has shared that he had a plan for two more Justice League movies that would’ve completed a five-film arc that started with Man of Steel. Snyder has already teased various details about his original plans for the franchise like Bruce Wayne’s death. We also know that Darkseid was going to have a major role in future Justice League films, and Snyder alluded to that during a recent League of Mayhem livestream from The Nerd Queens:

“What do I say to the world about, you know, what happens when Darkseid comes to Earth?” Then what? You know, is that a thing? And I think, listen, the truth is that, did I write and did I have and conceive a complete… do I know what happens when Darkseid? Yes. I do know what happens. To say and to speculate about what that is, that would be exciting. I think that’s a fine thing.”
