Director Zack Snyder has shared a new behind-the-scenes look at The Flash’s most pivotal moment in Justice League.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League was all that fans could hope for. Not only did the director’s cut deliver on Snyder’s original, intended version, but it also managed to properly show off some of our favorite characters. Superman’s return after his death was far more pivotal, while Cyborg’s screentime was practically doubled, essentially serving as the soul of the film. Ezra Miller’s The Flash, however, got the biggest moment in the entire DC film, as he managed to save the entire world by running back into time, causing Darkseid’s plan to fail.

The scene was widely praised as one of the standout moments from the director’s cut and continues to be one of the most talked-about DC scenes. Taking to Vero, director Zack Snyder shared a behind-the-scenes look at the test footage for the scene, which sees someone attached to wires on a treadmill, with a green screen in the background.

The Justice League director’s caption reads “Shot this with my phone as an example of what the shot could look like… good times.”

Here is the synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

Both versions of Justice League are available to stream on HBO Max. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DCEU, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
