Justice League director Zack Snyder trolled an unsuspecting comedian who tried to roast him in a hilarious video.

Zack Snyder’s career has been in a bit of a wonky state as of late. The director’s last major film, Justice League was sadly panned by critics and failed to meet Warner Bros’ financial expectations. This is often attributed to the film’s behind the scenes issues that started due to the mixed reception to the DC Extended Universe’s previous entry, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and continued to spiral after Zack Snyder himself vacated the director’s chair due to a personal tragedy. However, if nothing else, the director could easily have a future as a plant in comedy shows.

In a recent video, comedian Kyle Rehl began roasting an audience member who hesitantly told him his name. Not long after, the director told him what he did for a living before Rehl realized who he roasted and how he may have messed up. You can see the full video below:

What do you all think of this video? Are you surprised that the comedian somehow missed that he was roasting Zack Snyder? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Here’s the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Zack Snyder’s new cut of Justice League is expected to be released sometime in 2021 on HBO Max.
