More ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Set Images Reveal A Very Different Odin

Warning: Major spoilers ahead for Thor: Ragnarok.

Recent behind-the-scenes images from the set of Thor: Ragnarok revealed that the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will be returning to Earth, and more specifically, New York City, at some point during the movie. We initially thought that they will be doing that in order to find the Sorcerer Supreme (which may still happen), but more set snaps have seemingly confirmed who they’re actually looking for.

Hemsworth and Hiddleston were once again spotted filming a few scenes on the streets of Brisbane, Australia, but this time around, the two actors were joined by Sir Anthony Hopkins, who plays Odin. The last time we saw the All-Father was in 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, but he was looking much better than he is in these images. It appears that Odin has been stuck here on Earth ever since the events of that movie, which is something that has been rumored for a few months now.
