‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’: New Report Reveals Episode Count For Disney Plus Series

The episode count of the upcoming Marvel Studios series Agatha: Coven of Chaos has been revealed.

According to a new report from The Illuminerdi, Agatha: Coven of Chaos has nine episodes, just like WandaVision and the most recent Disney Plus series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The site also reports that Coven of Chaos creator Jac Schaeffer is directing at least one of these episodes, as is Gandja Monteiro, who was previously worked on Showtime’s The Chi and Netflix’s Wednesday.

The WandaVision spin-off is getting closer

Agatha: Coven of Chaos is a WandaVision spin-off series that revolves around Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness. The series is being developed by Jac Schaefer, the head scribe and executive producer of WandaVision and one of the writers behind 2019’s Captain Marvel and 2021’s Black WidowAnother spin-off series focusing on The Vision is currently in the works at Marvel Studios.

In addition to Kathryn Hahn, Agatha: Coven of Chaos features Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia and Emma Caulfield. Most of the cast members are playing Marvel Cinematic Universe newcomers, but Caulfield is reprising her WandaVision role, playing Westview resident Dottie Jones, a.k.a. Sarah Proctor.

Production on Agatha: Coven of Chaos is expected to kick off later this month, with the series rumored to be using the working title “My Pretty.” The first episode of the series is looking to premiere in Winter 2023 on Disney Plus.
