Andrew Guest (Brooklyn Nine-NineCommunity) is leading the writing team of the Wonder Man series, with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings helmer Destin Daniel Cretton on board as an executive producer. Cretton is also expected to direct an unspecified number of episodes before moving on to the yet-to-be titled Shang-Chi sequel and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

Created by Stan Lee, Don Heck and Jack Kirby, Wonder Man made his first comic book apperance in the pages of The Avengers #9, which was published in October 1964.
