A bewitching connection!

Kathryn Hahn Agatha Harkness WandaVision Marvel Disney Plus

The plot details for the first episode of Agatha: Darkhold Diaries have officially found their way online. The synopsis teases the show as a direct continuation to its Disney Plus predecessor Wandavision.

Details about the upcoming series Agatha: Darkhold Diaries have been kept close to the chest as the MCU adjusts its approach to Disney Plus content. However, as the series gets closer to release, a new copyright listing has revealed the plot synopsis for the first episode that teases the show’s connection to the hit series Wandavision:

“In the first episode we see Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) finally break out of a spell she has been trapped in. She can’t wait to go back to her old murderous ways, only to find that she is powerless. The only way forward for her is to embark on a perilous quest to get her powers back with the help of an unlikely friend or two.”

It seems as though, while Agatha: Darkhold Diaries won’t be a direct continuation of Wandavision, it’ll certainly continue some of the plot points presented in the Disney Plus series. It’s unclear how important Agatha: Darkhold Diaries and the titular book will be to the MCU going forward, but it certainly seems to be one bewitching ride!
