Ahsoka has finally finished filming season 2! The cast of the Star Wars series confirms the end of production with some truly moving social media posts.

Ahsoka stands out as quite the odd entity in the Star Wars pantheon. It’s a show that fans have been begging to see for decades. Despite this, it’s generally considered to be “pretty good”, not great. This underwhelming launch was only exacerbated as production on season 2 took longer and longer to start up, leaving the show to fall back into most people’s minds.

Yet it seems that, without much in the way of hype posting or rumors, production on Ahsoka season 2 has came and went. This was first brought to the attention of Star Wars fans by posts from multiple key cast members. Perhaps most notably was Eman Esfandi, who plays Ezra Bridger in the show, reflecting on the smooth production.

“Prayed that season 2 would go smoothly, be an epic adventure, and take everything to a new level. Locked in to make sure I was in the best head space I could be in to serve a story much larger than any one person.”

“That’s what I wanted, and I’m certain I got it. So grateful and so excited for y’all to tune in. Godspeed and may the force be with you all. Thanks, London. Love, Jabba ❤️‍🔥”

Ahsoka’s Cast Celebrates Season 2

Eman Esfandi wasn’t the only member of the cast that took to social media to celebrate production wrapping on Ahsoka. Natasha Liu Bordizzo also posted two photos celebrating the monstrous 7 month production timeline for season 2. The actress also shared what seems to be the first set photo fans have gotten for the Star Wars project.

Despite these updates from the cast, fans shouldn’t expect Ahsoka season 2 anytime soon. Star Wars shows have infamously long post-production stages, and it’s likely this series is no different. While the project is expected to drop in 2026, fans should probably expect a quarter 4 release, if not having the show drop in December.

The first season of Ahsoka is currently streaming on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding season 2 and the rest of the Star Wars universe on Disney Plus. Make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
