‘Justice League’ Concept Art Reveals An Alternate Look For Amber Heard’s Mera

Aquaman star Amber Heard gets an alternate Mera look in brand new concept art from Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Many Justice League fans were upset that Amber Heard’s Mera ended up having a completely different look for her appearance in 2018’s Aquaman, but an alternate design for the Atlantean heroine shows off an even more different costume for the Princess of Xebel. Although her role in the theatrical release of Justice league was minimal, fans will hopefully get to see more from Mera in the highly-anticipated Zack Snyder Cut.

The Justice League concept art comes from artist Constantine Sekeris, who took to Instagram to share the process of co-creating the look with the film’s costume designer, Michael Wilkinson. The artist revealed that he worked from a sketch that Wilkinson had already come up with for Amber Heard’s Mera before they worked on it in 3D. It’s not as bulky as her final look in Justice League, aside from her full regal helmet. You can see the artwork of the Aquaman character below.

Amber Heard’s Mera was last seen in 2018’s Aquaman. Here’s the official synopsis for the movie:
