‘Andor’: Lucasfilm Releases Character Posters For Next ‘Star Wars’ Series

Lucasfilm has released three new character posters for Andor in anticipation of the upcoming Star Wars series.

Andor‘s first season was originally supposed to be underway already, but the premiere was ultimately pushed back. Despite the delay, Andor‘s debut is now a little over a week away. The Rogue One prequel will debut with three episodes on September 21.

Andor had a presence at D23 last weekend during the Lucasfilm presentation on Saturday and the final trailer came out of the convention, which teased more about the rise of the rebellion during this dark time period in Star Wars canon.

Faces of the Rebellion

The marketing push for the upcoming Star Wars series continues as Lucasfilm releases three new character posters for the series featuring Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor, Genevieve O’Reilly’s Mon Mothma, and Stellan Skarsgård’s Luthen Rael. You can check out the Andor character posters below.

Here is the synopsis for Andor:

“The ‘Andor’ series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.”

Andor stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Genevieve O’Reilly. Tony Gilroy, Dan Gilroy, Stephen Schiff, and Beau Willimon served as the writers of the Star Wars series while Toby Haynes, Susanna White, and Benjamin Caron directed the episodes.
