Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania director Peyton Reed praises Kang actor Jonathan Majors and compares him to a Hollywood legend.
Last year, Jonathan Majors made his big Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Kang the Conquerer in the Disney Plus series, Loki. Before this, however, it had been revealed that Majors had been cast in the role of Kang for Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania. Currently, it is unknown how big of a role the actor will have in the upcoming film.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania director Peyton Reed spoke of Jonathan Majors and had nothing but good things to say about the Kang actor. Specifically, he compared Majors to a young version of Marlin Brando:
“It’s become a cliché over the decades to compare somebody to a young Marlon Brando, but Jonathan has that. He has just this energy and this presence, and our movie is definitely benefiting from that.”
Who Was Marlon Brando?
Marlon Brando was a screen legend who is perhaps best remembered for his role in The Godfather for which he won an Oscar. He also won another for On The Waterfront and was nominated several more times during the first half of his career. As time went on, however, the actor became more and more eccentric and developed a reputation as being difficult to work with.
