Mind-Blowing Quantum Realm Easter Egg Spotted In ‘Ant-Man’ Sequel

Marvel Ant-Man The Wasp Evangeline Lilly Civil War Avengers

Ant-Man and The Wasp just recently released on digital and fans are already finding some amazing things on their second viewing of the hit Marvel film. Some fans have even spotted something in the Quantum Realm that could mean big things for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Fans were first introduced to the Quantum Realm in 2015’s Ant-Man when Scott Lang went subatomic to save the day. It was also unveiled that the original Wasp, Janet Van Dyne, also went subatomic to save the day but was unfortunately trapped in the Quantum Realm. In the sequel, Hank is able to get Janet out and gets to see the Quantum Realm on a grand scale for the first time. And with this first glimpse, a few fans have spotted something others may have missed. You can check out the post below.

Janet did say in the film that the Quantum Realm was much more then her or Hank ever imagimed. It helps explain how Janet survived down there for so long and it would unveil where she got the coat she is wearing when Hank finds her. If this discovery is accurate this could lead to a huge expansion of the MCU and some very interesting stories.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and the Wasp stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, T.I., Laurence Fishburne, Randall Park, Walton Goggins, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer. Here’s the official synopsis:

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes “Ant Man and the Wasp,” a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is available on Blu-ray release on October 16.
