Disney has revealed the first official look at Anthony Mackie’s suit as it will appear in the upcoming Disney Plus series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Earlier this year, Marvel concluded the story arc for Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) as the character retired from his life as a superhero and passed on the shield and mantle of Captain America to his friend Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie). Anthony Mackie is now set to reprise his role as Sam Wilson in the upcoming Disney Plus series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which will be the first Marvel Studios series to arrive on the new streaming service.

Since the end of Avengers: Endgame, fans have been waiting to see Anthony Mackie return to the role of Sam Wilson, and now Marvel has revealed just how the hero will look when he returns in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. You can check it out below.

Plot details for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier are being kept under wraps. But the series will reportedly center on the U.S. Government’s opposition to Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson replacing Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers as Captain America. Captain America: Civil War actor Daniel Bruhl is set to reprise his role as Baron Zemo in the series.

Kari Skoglan is reportedly directing all six episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier from scripts penned by Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad. The series stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Daniel Brühl with a scheduled Fall 2020 release on the Disney Plus streaming service. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier were last seen in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame. Here’s the official synopsis for that movie:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
