The Falcon and The Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie revealed that he knows what the studio has planned for phase four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Now that he’s seemingly set to become Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Anthony Mackie is privy to the direction of the story going forward on the big-screen and on Disney Plus. During his recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, he opened up about how he was told about the ongoing plot in phase four. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier star also discussed the reports that Chris Evans is returning to the Captain America role in some capacity in the future.
But when asked about his specific reaction to the phase 4 plans, Anthony Mackie dodged around the answer with a simple “Uhhhh….we’ll see!” Obviously The Falcon and The Winter Soldier star is cautious about revealing anything that might hint towards whatever it is Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige has planned. Although with Mackie’s sense of humor, it’s possible he’s joking about the precautions Marvel takes when discussing future plot-points. Take a look below.
“You know how all the 14-year-old girls have that little noise machine that they sleep… like the little wind thing… [Marvel Studios] bring you in a room and turn on four of those, close the curtains, and they literally just run down on a blackboard the gauntlet of what’s gonna happen.”
