‘Aquaman’ Breaks 10-Day Record In China, Dethrones ‘Captain America: Civil War’

Aquaman has broken another record in China by surpassing Captain America: Civil War‘s ten-day gross.

In 2016, Captain America: Civil War was able to earn $155.8 million in China over the course of its first ten days of release. DC’s latest solo adventure has surpassed that record with an impressive haul of $189.2 million. Check out the Tweet below to see Aquaman‘s ten-day gross compared to other comic book movies on the list.

Aquaman opened in an additional 42 markets this weekend and is currently nearing a total worldwide gross of $300 million. It will have a bit more competition during its opening weekend in the U.S. but Aquaman is still expected to earn some big numbers when it releases just before Christmas.
