The seemingly never-ending joke saga between Mark Ruffalo and Infinity War and Avengers 4 directors Joe and Anthony Russo doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. And as indicated before, it’s all in good fun, as it’s highly unlikely that the Russo Brothers have the final say, especially on Twitter of all places, about whether Ruffalo is indeed fired for his either intentional or planned spoilers for the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
No one is expected to take this seriously, but fandom being what it is…well, someone may do just that. Through a mix of uncertainty, incredulity, and just plain old outrage, fans have, of course, jumped into the ongoing conversation revolving around the Russo Brothers announcing that they had wrapped on Avengers 4, Mark Ruffalo declaring that they had revealed a huge spoiler, and the Russos declaring that no, Mark, you’re still fired. And then fans decided to weigh in with their input, as you can see below:

Some even guessed that if Mark Ruffalo was indeed “fired,” would this spell doom for Hulk in Avengers 4, as some already speculate the same for Dave Bautista’s Drax in light of his protest against Disney firing James Gunn:
So uh,,, isn’t him being fired,, Also a spoiler….

Again, it’s all in good fun. No real rhyme or reason to take any of this seriously, so hopefully fans, who are already on pins and needles for anything to satiate their appetites for any and all content related to the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War, manage to take a chill pill and relax. Mark Ruffalo is not fired. At least not yet, as far as we know. But if he is, be sure to check out the Russo Brothers’ Twitter handle for any and all details for the explanation.
Avengers: Infinity War is available now on Digital HD, 4K, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
